BLOOPERS + EXTRAS

Just some extra shots of funny and challenging moments of our adventures! Some of the bushwhacking photos are from attempts we've made to follow roads that were shown to exist on Google Maps, but in reality they do not. We've also had to cross a number of fallen trees and washed out roads after heavy storms (many of which do get cleaned up eventually). But we've had a blast with all of it!


Deepest gratitude to my husband, Steve, for supporting me on my quest to find new and crazy places for the both of us to explore. Also, many thanks to our companions who have joined us on some of our adventures: my super-twin brother, Grant; my children, Sean and Joe; and my former University of Oregon track teammate and phenom Claudette Groenendaal. Sean also showed me how to make the maps. Without him, this site would look like clip-art!
